Prof Sabine Schlacke (co-chair)

Sabine Schlacke is Professor of Public Law, with a focus on administrative and environmental law at the University of Greifswald and Managing Director of the Institute for Energy, Environmental and Maritime Law (IfEUS). Previously she taught at the University of Münster (2013-21). She is judge at the Constitutional Court of Bremen (since 2011). 2008-13 she served as a Professor of Public Law at Bremen University. Memberships: chair of the scientific advisory board of the Academy for Spatial Research and Planning (ARL), jury member for the German Environmental Award of the German Federal Environmental Foundation (DBU), board member of the Gesellschaft für Umweltrecht e.V. She is WBGU member since 2008, since 2016 WBGU co-chair.
