Sabine Schlacke is professor of public law, executive director of the Institute for Environmental Law and Planning Law, University of Münster (since 2013) and judge at the Constitutional Court of Bremen (since 2011). 2008-2013: Professor of Public Law, specializing on German, European and International Environmental and Administrative Law, and executive director of the Research Centre for European Environmental Law, Bremen University. 2002-2007: Scientific coordinator of the Baltic Institute for Maritime Law, Environmental Law and Infrastructural Law, Rostock University. Memberships: chair of the scientific advisory board of the Academy for Spatial Research and Planning (ARL), jury member for the German Environmental Award of the German Federal Environmental Foundation (DBU), board member of the Gesellschaft für Umweltrecht e.V. She is WBGU member since 2008, 2016 – 2020 WBGU chair.
